Family friends and relatives of Iyad Shilbaya, a 38-year-old local leader of the armed wing of the Islamist movement Hamas, mourn at his home after he was shot dead by Israeli soldiers on September 17, 2010 inside his bedroom in the Nur Shams refugee camp near the northern West Bank town of Tulkarem. Palestinian security sources said Shilbaya was killed in his home after about 15 military jeeps entered the camp, but an Israeli military spokesman said he had "run in a threatening towards the soldiers who opened fire.".
