A Palestinian Bedouin girl look out of her courtyard gate in Malalha village near Rafah, southern Gaza Strip on May 7, 2009. The Waked family, Bedouins who barely survive mainly by scavenging for scrap, are recipients of a weekly supply of fresh vegetables from the international humanitarian aid agency CARE's Fresh Food Cycle project. Funded by the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid Department (ECHO), the project buys up fresh produce from struggling Palestinian farmers in order to feed the most vulnerable people in Gaza.
