Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is to hold talks today with Defence Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on a possible Gaza offensive, public radio had reported. It said the meeting would decide on whether Israel mounts a large-scale assault against rocket-firing Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip or agree to a truce with the Islamist movement Hamas which controls the territory.
